Exquisite embroidered whitework handkerchief.  It appears to be hand embroidered with some tiny needle lace motifs in the open flower centers.  Meticulous embroidery on a fine linen ground.  It still has the ink pattern outline showing, so I don't think that this piece has ever been used or washed! 

Condition is very good with some faint marks - I have not cleaned this piece.

19th century.

Antique white in  colour.
