It has some beautiful circular patterns to form the scallops with picoted button-holed bars. There are some unusual cloth work like petals, which are similar to those illustrated on p47 of 'The Illustrated Guide To Lace' by Emily Reigate. Condition is extremely good and sturdy for their age; there are a few small breaks. Ecru in colour. Mid to late 16th century. Each measures approx. 58cm x 15cm (23" x 5.75").
