Muslin appliqué bertha collar with some needle made lace fillings. It looks like a cross between Carrickmacross and Limerick, but this type of lace was also being produced in Belgium. It still has it's original ID label from the County of Warwick Museum.

In good condition; there is some pulling away of the muslin from the stitches which is common for this type of lace.

Late 19th century.

Ivory in colour.

Measures approx. 91cm (35 3/4”) around the neck by 17cm (6 1/2”) at its deepest point.

Price - £45.00
