An extremely long pair of machine made Chantilly lace lappets. In fact this is the longest example that I have seen! They have a striking design of undulating ribbon work with cut out zig-zag sections, a spotted ground, large full-blown roses and a scalloped edge. I do not think that this piece has ever been used, and so it would be lovely for a collector. 

Condition is very good and sturdy.

Late 19th century.
