A very long, hand worked Limerick stole with tamboured and run-embroidery upon on a machine made net.  It has a panel at each end with flowers and cartouches with wonderful fillings.  It has a gently scalloped border with a sprigged ground.

Condition is good with a few small breaks in the net.

Mid 19th century.

Antique white in colour with some age marks.

Measures approx. 280cm x 44cm (110" x 17 1/4") at its widest points.
