Christening or day gown trimmed with Bucks point bobbin lace. The gown is high-waisted, with the Bucks point bobbin lace trim forming a V-shaped panel at the front, cut off by the waistline, and in two bands towards the hem gown. The neckline, sleeves and hem are trimmed with a smaller thickness of Bucks bobbin trim. The gown is completely hand-stitched.

Condition is very good for its age, but there is some damage to the fine lawn and lace, and some repairs.

Measures 111cm (43 1/2”) from shoulder to hem, 104cm (41”) from waistband to hem and has a hem circumference of 207cm (81”).
