Ayrshire whitework Christening gown. Traditionally, the tip of the triangular bodice would be tucked in for a baby girl or left out for a boy. The floral whitework on the skirt front, bodice and sleeves is extremely fine, with some excellent filling stitches.
Condition is very good for its age, with a couple of tiny holes in the fine lawn.

Measures approx. 115cm (45”) from shoulder to hem, with a skirt length of 95cm (37”) and width of 115cm (45”).
