Very handsome floral design of sprays of roses and daises with floral sprigs at the scalloped hem. Along the sides is a smaller scale scalloped edging with sprigs and the fine net has florets dotted all over. It still has its original ID label from the Castle Howard Costume Collection. Condition is good - there are a number of small breaks in the net. Dates from the mid to late 19th century. Black in colour.
