Machine made Chantilly lace bonnet veil. Very pretty floral and boteh design with an applied picot edge and a hand run in liner. The veil has been gathered at the top on a silk ribbon. It still has its original ID label from the Castle Howard Costume Collection. 

Condition is excellent - I can find only one tiny break in the net.

Dates from the mid century.

Black in colour.
