A bonnet veil of handmade Needlerun lace, imitating Bucks bobbin lace. It has a very pretty design with delicate floral sprays at the hem, and little sprigs at the hem edge, and star-shaped point d'esprit dotted all over. It came from the Castle Howard Costume Collection and still has its original ID label sewn in.

In very good condition - I can only find a few tiny breaks in the net.

Dates from the early to mid 19th century.

White in colour.
